The Ilse Katz Institute for Nanoscale Science and Technology (IKI) at BGU, a knowledge center equipped with a state-of-the-art infrastructure, serves as a central university user facility aiming to support research in a wide variety of areas.
Responsibilities:
Research support in x-ray diffraction techniques
Operation of state of the art equipment
Training of junior researchers
Responsibility for maintenance and running operation of the lab
Requirements:
Expertise in x-ray diffraction, powder and thin film characterization, phase determination, quantitative methods
Research oriented, curiosity driven
Good communication skills, ability to work and cooperate with others
M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in materials research, physics, chemistry and related areas
