Role Brief:
The ideal candidate is a python/object-oriented programmer. Joining our data team to take part in the company’s core feature development. Combining software development and statistics algorithms. Working closely with MDClone’s medical, development and QA teams.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement and maintain the core code, using various technologies
• Design schema structures to support application needs to insure best performance
• Continuous improvement of operational processes and procedures
• Provide creative solutions for advanced challenges
• Work with technical and medical teams on design and implementation of Big
Data solutions
• Provide creative solutions for advanced challenges
Academic and Professional Qualifications:
• Proven experience in Python programming specializing in efficient manipulation of pandas dataframes and data analysis, able to achieve high performance manipulating big data
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Physics/Computer Science or related field – advantage
• Experience with R - advantage
• Experience with Big data (HDFS, Impala, Hive, Spark) – advantage
• Knowledge of standard medical terminologies and experience in the medical field- advantage
Personal Skills:
• Passion for data, creative, innovative and motivated with strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - must be a team player
• Ability to learn new technology and research independently
• Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously
