Role Brief:
We are looking for a talented Data Engineer, who will join our data team to take part in company’s data analysis and implementation processes. As part of the job the Data engineer will work closely with MDClone’s medical and development teams as well as with MDClone’s clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and maintain ETL processes, using various technologies (Big Data and RDBMS)
- Design schema structures to support application needs to insure best performance
- Explore and find insights within large databases and continuously produce improvements in order to maximize the value of the data for the researchers
- Continuous improvement of operational process and procedures
- Provide creative solutions for advanced challenges
- Work closely with technical and medical teams on design and implementation of Big Data solutions
- Work closely with customers
דרישות התפקיד וניסיון נדרש:
Academic and professional qualifications:
- Passion for data, creativity, innovation and high motivation
- Strong analytical skills and high attention for details
- Relevant bachelor degree (preferably industry engineering/information systems)
- Substantial SQL experience (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, PL/SQL) - At least for 2 years
- Experience with ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica, Talend - big advantage)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, must be a team player
- Ability to learn new technology and research independently
- Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously
Advantages
- Experience with Big data (HDFS, Impala, Hive, Spark)
- Knowledge of standard medical terminologies and experience in the medical field
